Thoughts on SEO and AI
Large language models are changing organic search, as a lot of informational style content isn't as valuable as it once was.
For example, instead of searching “what is a break cable?” or “how do I fix my bikes breaks?” you can go to ChatGPT or Anthropic and get a super tailored result thats specific to your situation in 0.0002 seconds.
So where’s the puck moving and how can businesses stay ahead of it?
First off, as long as we use phones and computers to find information and solve problems SEO will be valuable.
Secondly, here’s a list of strategies I’m bullish on and where I’m spending my resources - research based articles, free tools & opens source projects, video tutorials, online reviews, and (most importantly) sharing your story - learnings, failures, and wins.
Overall, AI is helping people find information and solutions faster. And it’s forcing businesses to level up and focus on what really matters - providing the best value their customers.
It’s that or die.
